Besides being an actress she is also a voice over artist, casting agent and a translator.

As you can see for yourself, she has two surnames. The first one is Maja and the other one is Mbatha. Currently she is known as Molobane Maja. So, we assume that she got divorced as Maja was her maiden surname. In her previously prominent name Malobane Maja-Mbatha, it can be reasonably presumed that she got divorced from her husband. As her social media handles and names no longer include Mbatha in them.

In 2011, she appeared as Zamo, the wife of a truck driver who is forced to deal with the painful reality of her husband’s infidelity, illegitimate children, and contracting HIV, in an episode of Intersexions.

Furthermore, in 2013, she starred as Mokgadi in the Mzansi Magic miniseries 2020 Orlando East. The series was later broadcast on Mzansi Wethu. Aside from being cast herself, Molobane also cast a number of actors in the SABC1 drama Skeem Saam. Moreover, 2016, she appeared as Serithi Mojalefa in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. Thereafter, she appeared in the SABC1 drama series Ingozi the following year.

In 2017, she landed another recurring role in the SABC 1 drama series “Ingozi.” She also appeared in Showmax’s Omen, which was released on the platform on January 13, 2020. She takes on the role of Chigane. In the 2018 drama series “iKhaya,” Mbatha portrayed ‘Raisibe, the first wife of ‘Saint Sesili? who leads a double life with two women. Later that year, the series was renewed for a second season.

She played ‘Mokgadi’ in the Mzansi Magic miniseries 2020 Orlando East, which later aired on Mzansi Wethu. Molobane appeared in several episodes of Skeem Saam, a popular SABC 1 soapie. Currently she is still acting on Skeem Saam portraying a character as Mrs Kgomo.
