Didintle Khunou is a South African actress, singer, voice artist, presenter and MC. She is best known for her starring role as Celie in the Janice Honeyman production of The Color Purple Musical at the Joburg Theatre. And more recently she is known as Esther in the BET Africa’s Isono which airs on etv.

Didintle Khunou was born in Klerksdorp, North West on the 14th of November 1992. And, she wasn’t born alone, according to Briefly.co.za she has a twin named Boipelo Khunou. Khunou was born a peculiarly beautiful woman, she has blonde eyes which not many black people have. Her father is a general practitioner, while her mother is a medical technologist and businessperson.
Sources say that her parents also run the Kwa-Mothakga Lodge located in Klerksdorp. So, she comes from a very well off family. Which allowed her to easily pursue her dream without too much fear of the usual backlashes. However, the actress has not revealed how much of a role her parents or siblings played in her career. But, it is suggested that they were very supportive of her.
