Admits to missing work and living in a Randburg brothel, but says he’s not ashamed of who he is. He was fired from his own screenplay after missing work for 3 months in the movie Mbali.

Getting fired from Scandal!

On June 4, 2007, Dlamini informed the Scandal! producers that he was ill and needed time off. After a long absence with no news from him, the producers of that show tried unsuccessfully to contact him, at which point they went to his house, which appeared to be unoccupied. After two weeks of no communication from him, the police were called, and they discovered that he had been inside his home. He claimed he had been ill and needed time to recover. On June 28, 2007, he was fired from Scandal!, but he later returned on a recurring basis to play Stan Nyathi.
